Drew Albert is in his sixth year of teaching at Maranacook High School where he started his teaching career right after college. Mr. Albert studied music education at the University of Maine in Orono, where during senior year he was the assistant conductor to Dr. Dennis Cox and the University Singers, and the music director for the Maine Stieners.
Drew teaches both instrumental and vocal music at Maranacook High School. He also holds the title of Theater Director; producing both a play and a musical each year.
Aside from being a music educator, Drew is also an avid performer. He is active in several performing ensembles, including the Kennebec
Performing Arts Company Concert Band, as well as an original band, The Galley Rats. He is also guest conductor of district festivals, as well as pit orchestra conductor for theatrical productions.
Drew resides in Gardiner, Maine with his beautiful wife Ashley Albert as well as their two handsome cats: Alex and Archie.
